The new update to the adidas A-ZX platform is a thirst-quenching ZX 7000 developed in partnership with the Chinese company HEYTEA.

HEYTEA launched in 2012 as a small tea shop in Guangdong and now runs hundreds of stores across Asia. With the intention of breathing new life into traditional culture, Cheezo Tea was made, a creamy tea-based drink that mixes a form of salted cheese from New Zealand with fresh tea. It sounds weird, but its success around Asia shows it’s on to.

For the collaboration, HEYTEA reworked the ZX 7000 in pink, purple and white-the colors of its iconic “Grape Cheezo” drink. Accentuating the beverage-inspired style, the sneaker features a shimmering, pleated top with a translucent TPU overlay and the HEYTEA emblem on the translucent TPU.

This release is part of the adidas A-ZX program, a series of 26 ZX sneakers launching throughout 2020-21.
