ASICS has come across a new runner deserving to be your next summer go-to. The GEL-KYRIOS is the most recent Japanese hybrid form. Bring a new look and modernized technologies to a beloved noughties built to add ease, freedom of expression and rhythm into your daily routine.

Last year, ASICS launched their first hybrid model, the GEL-KAYANO 5 360, and has since repeatedly proven they know one or two things about the delicate balancing act of blending sneaker designs. Applying a similar strategy as they did with previous versions, the GEL-KYRIOS takes inspiration from 2005 ‘s GEL-HELIOS and fuses it with the modernized GEL-KIRIL tooling filled with technology.

Staying true to the original, the GEL-KYRIOS sports a layered mesh and upper leather, pairing it with new outsole tooling, which has been retrofitted with FLYTEFOAM Propel technology, as well as heel and forefoot GEL cushioning technology.

On the sneaker, designer Kenichi Kawano says, “Based on the concept of the original GEL-HELIOS training shoe from 2005, I tried to reinvent its core features of versatility with modernized components that cater to today’s street-style speed running fashion.”

In honor of the performance origins of the sneaker, the first drop sees delivered in two sporty colorways-white with silver and blue hits, and black with red touches.
