With “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk, which the Toronto native dropped alongside visuals shot entirely at Nike’s Beaverton headquarters, Drake followed up on his promise for new music. The music video goes a long way to restore Drake ‘s relationship with the Swoosh, and may even have given us a glimpse of a Drake x Nike sneaker coming up.

The mystery sneakers are seen in the video for about 20 seconds, when Drake gets out of the Maybach in which he rolls up to the Nike campus. All the shoes are white with an open heel air bubble and perforations on what appears like a leather upper. Popular hidden.ny Instagram mood board was on hand to take screenshots which you can see in detail below.

Drake first signed in 2013 with the Swoosh and in the years that followed partnered on many Jordan Brand silhouettes. Nonetheless, in 2018 he was contacted by adidas — and has recently come really close to signing with them. On Instagram, Drake was frequently seen sporting Three Stripes before the rumored move fell through.

Since then, however, Drake has primarily once again been wearing Nike, an statement that the two parties have resumed their relationship in an official capacity has not yet been released.

Recently rumors of an OVO-branded Air Force 1 collaboration have emerged, while Drake ‘s latest “Laugh Now Cry Later” visuals suggest that we could see an official Drake x Nike link up somewhere in the near future. Keep tuned, as usual, for updates and watch the music video featuring Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr. and more below.
