A sample pair of Nike Air Jordan 4 “Multicolor” scrapped by Drake has made its way to the auction through Sotheby ‘s famed auction house. Drake initially teased the sneaker in question in fall 2017 before he allegedly ended his relationship with Nike and the rapper was close to signing with adidas.

As a result, the Air Jordan 4s have never been released, leading many sneakerheads to assume the project had been completely scrapped. A size 11 (Drake’s size) of the “Multicolor” AJ4s is now up for auction as part of Sotheby ‘s historic lot of over 120 hip-hop-related pieces. The sum of 7 bids at the time of writing is $19,000.

The Nike Air Jordan 4s “Multicolor” was originally an unreleased sample in 1989, while this pair features slightly different details, such as the OVO owl under the heel tabs, and OVO/6-God branding under the insoles.
