Adidas Originals has partnered up with Italian football giant Juventus as part of its relaunched A-ZX campaign. The team, funded by adidas, gets a ZX 6000 in the club’s own colors and boasts premium fabrics and construction — fit for a champion.

The Bianconeri — as it is known in Italy — have taken moves in recent years to become more of a luxury brand off the pitch. A series of in-house merchandise and a branding update are two of the moves Juventus has taken to increase its brand image outside of the sport and to put itself as the most trendy club on earth.

Choosing to reflect the world-class pedigree of Juventus in the football world, adidas Originals has introduced a luxurious makeover to the ZX 6000 team. The sneaker features quality Italian fabric, rolled seams, waxy laces and fabric lining. The sneaker is given a monochromatic makeover while staying faithful to Juventus’ famous white and black stripes.

The collaborative ZX 6000 is the new move and looks to be a good one, as the shoe ‘s style is not too blatantly modeled after a football club, as several collaborations with football clubs x sneakers were in the past. The sneaker will be available at and from numerous stores around the world on September 2.

This release is part of adidas’ A-ZX program, a series of 26 ZX sneakers dropping throughout 2020-21. To see what’s dropped so far and what’s coming next, head here.
