Jonathan Anderson, the latest Moncler Genius collaborator, will introduce a limited edition “exhibition-in-a-box” to promote the coming together.
The colorful box comes from the concept of a filling box, usually used to hold sensitive papers and documents. The images are meant to be taken apart and arranged according to personal taste and creative whims.
Anderson includes a personal message inside the box that reads: “I am happy to share with you the crowning achievement of my 1 MONCLER JW ANDERSON collection. ‘Exhibition in a box’ is a piece to interact with at home, while the world still struggles to find new ways to spend time together. I hope that this initiative, with the incredible images of Tyler Mitchell, will be to your liking.”
Mitchell, recognized for Beyoncé’s Vogue September 2018 cover shoot and monograph I Can Make You Feel Good, spotted JW Anderson x Moncler in the British countryside earlier this summer. The line, which was shown at Fashion Week back in February, was based on the concept of a “inflated archive” and discards the concept of applying Moncler ‘s 3D fabrics to JW Anderson ‘s favorite silhouettes.
