Legendary American brand College has launched a new type of boot that blends two traditional leather footwear, making a hybrid silhouette that gets more complex the longer you look at it. College fused the details of the slip-on moccasin with the characteristics of the classic Chelsea boot.
The shoe features elastic side panels and a tall bootie beside a hand-stitched harness. The sole is made of leather and features a blake stitching, which is where the top of the shoe is folded under the insole and stitched in place with a single thread joining the insole, the upper and the outsole on the inside of the shoe.
Though College is best known for its loafers, the new generation of the shoe brand is an intriguing take on the hybrid theme. Instead of mixing formal and informal, however, College has doubled the former. Shop the boots here.
