The long-standing relationship between Adidas and Lucas Film’s Star Wars begins with a pack of four shoes, each inspired by a different character from The Empire Strikes Back (Episode V) in 1980. The Top Ten Hi, released in 1979, was selected to portray Boba Fett, the mysterious bounty hunter who after the movie’s premiere became a crowd favorite.
The Top Ten Hi of Boba Fett is dropping in a special edition, the collector’s box matching the packaging figures and other officially licensed merchandise is being sold in, making this one for the collectors.
It is really specifically influenced by adidas Top Ten Hi. By Boba Fett, everybody’s favourite Star Wars bounty hunter. The military green colorway is taken straight from the uniform of Boba Fett and the top of the shoe has holes and cracks, much like the original outfit of Boba Fett. A poster and lace diamonds from Star Wars are featured in the shoe’s exclusive packaging.
Up to now, adidas publicly released only the Boba Fett-inspired adidas Top Ten Hi and a Lando Calrissian-inspired NMD R1. Both silhouettes will be out in late September at some point. Keep tuned to get reports on the pack ‘s two other silhouettes.
