This year’s Met Gala will not be the first Monday in May, as it has been indefinitely postponed due to Covid-19. To compensate for this, Vogue releases ‘A Momet with The Met,’ a livestream to be posted on YouTube channel magazines.

The livestream will include exclusive performances of Virgil Abloh, who will be DJing, and Florence and The Machine, broadcasting from 6 pm ET on May 4th. In addition to this there will be a look back at past Met Galas, with incredible clips of celebrities like Cardi B, Naomi Campbell and Stella McCartney.

Managed annually to benefit the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the exclusive event also offers lavish red carpet looks. Alongside this live stream, Vogue will contribute to the costume institute and the Vogue and the “A Shared Thread” campaign of the CFDA.
