Nike is resurrecting the Air Griffey Max 1 OG “Freshwater” colorway following the resurgence of Ken Griffey Jr.’s sneaker back in 2016 to mark the induction of the legendary player to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Of course, there’s a massive amount of hype about the 2021 arrival that will mark the shoe’s 25th anniversary. The chunky, mainly black and white silhouette has sold out every time it has been reissued since its release in 1996.
Although there is no official release date yet, expect the “Freshwater” Nike Air Griffey Max 1 to be launched sometime in early 2021 and keep it here for updates.
